Directed by Aaron King, this is a video short created for the band Cascade Array (cascadearray.com). Shot with the Canon 5D Mark II on location in Los Angeles, CA over a weekend. I switched between the Zeiss zf lenses, the canon 15-35 and the canon 70-200.
In shooting the CAA short i used these great LED’s by LED-Z, the BRUTE 30. They’re equivalent to an 400 HMI sungun in terms of output. Great for a quick backlight or when you need punch in small space. Because they were going for pure punch, I always try and diff it or bounce it […]
